Machelle Mongomery is the consummate professional. She had confident practical solutions to every question we had. The event went without a glitch from wedding through the rehearsal. I received comments throughout the event on just how attractive and opulent the venue was, from centerpieces to table arrangement. It was a my daughter’s moment to remember. I was so very proud to pay for a reception that received nothing but raves.
She had a wealth of professional contacts that lead us to the perfect DJ who seamlessly transitioned from the traditional to the later night party music. It was formal when it needed to be and then a dance party with glow sticks.

Machelle of Memorable Moments helped with our planning by keeping us on track and putting together a very helpful budget and timeline. She was very flexible and really made sure everything was done the way we wanted. She made sure we were aware of things that are part of the planning process that we never would have thought of. All of our guests were from out of town and she created an excellent, creative flyer showing a map of the area and some things to do in between the ceremony and reception. Her coordinating was just as awesome as her planning. She was with us the entire day of our wedding making sure everything went smooth. Machelle was organized, detailed and did a fantastic job. Machelle Montgomery has served on the Akron Art Museum’s SWITCH committee for the last three years. The first year she became involved as an intern in the museum’s development department and volunteered to create and implement a timeline for the new fundraising event. Since this involved switching themes three times during the evening, the timeline was a critical component. Machelle’s detailed plan and her personal management all evening assured that SWITCH was a huge success. Machelle moved on to taking responsibility for creating and implementing the timeline. She also assumed other roles that included ordering event items, securing raffle items and assembling gift baskets for major patrons. Mathelle’s enthusiasm and willingness to take on and carry out multiple responsibilities as a committee member has been invaluable to the success of SWITCH, raising operating funds each year to sustain the Akron Art Museum’s mission to enrich lives through modern art.
